File Transfer

The Secure File Transfer feature allows users to share files securely using the Safous platform.

Safous portal admins can configure the following

  1. Identities – Set the users that has access to the file-transfer application on the applications portal. The options are:
    a. None: Disables the feature.
    b. Specific identities: Select users, user groups, and API Keys.
  2. Max file size (MB) – Set the maximum file size in MB of the files uploaded or shared.
  3. Max downloads – Set the maximum number of downloads permitted.
  4. Max retention days – Set the maximum number of days that shared files are retained.
  5. Anti malware detection for uploaded files – Enable malware detection of uploaded files.
  6. Conditions – Set conditions to be applied before users can access the file-transfer application on the applications portal.

End users can perform the following on the Safous applications portal:

  1. Upload/Download/Delete files – Upload, download, and edit files.
  2. Share with – Each file on the Secure File Transfer portal can be set with the users or user groups that the file is shared with.
  3. File restrictions – Set the following restrictions:
    a. Max downloads – Set the maximum number of downloads permitted.
    b. Max retention days – Set the maximum number of days that shared files are retained.
    c. Password required – Set a password for the shared file.
