Deployment Models

Safous PRA consists of three flexible deployment models:

  1. Internet - AppGWs communicate through the Safous Global POP, a managed entry point for users to access Safous PRA. Users can securely access the system if they can access the nearest Global POP instance from their geolocation.

  2. Hybrid - AppGWs communicate through Private POPs, but these Private POPs themselves are connected to the Safous Global POP. The private POP can be used by on-prem users, while the Safous Global (cloud) POP can enable remote access. In this way, on-prem users have direct access to local data centers without the need to connect to the cloud, while external users use the Safous Global POP to access these same applications.

  3. Isolated - AppGWs communicate exclusively through Private POP. Users can access the system only through one of the Private POPs controlled and managed by the customer. This deployment model is also known as I-SRA. For more information, please see the following article: [ISRA Overview - Link TBD]
